Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited is the wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group in India. Its operations are spearheaded by two of Group division companies: Volkswagen India Private Limited and Audi India. They focus on manufacture and sales of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles in India.

Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited operates a manufacturing plant at Chakan, near Pune, Maharashtra with a annual capacity of 110,000 vehicles for production of Volkswagen branded vehicles and also operates a manufacturing/assembly plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra which is also shared by Škoda Auto India Private Limited for production of Audi branded vehicles. The new plant at Chakan will also be used by SAIPL to assemble the Škoda Fabia.

VW first Indian commercial. This is first commercial in India. It emphasises on brand value "Prestige"
It is very clear in this ad that the car is made for India! Many may not recognise it, but still ok kinda ad to enter the market.

When i saw this ad first thing what i did was, i searched in google to find what das auto mean!

It means "The auto".

What is the message Volkswagen want to pass to its customers???
Dream for VW. Its prestige!!!

In this ad, VW is trying to persuade the concept of curves!! But it could have been made better. Girl eating and getting crazy, i did not get it how curves are back! Many don't!

Overall my impression on VW is it does not emphasise on car design and interiors, It wish to be in the rich and prestige segments i.e., dreamers segment!
